- 마이크로소프트 주가변화

‘미국 시가총액 2위’ 마이크로소프트의 경우 시간 외 거래 초반 약 1%대 하락했다가 3.88% 까지 하락 마감했습니다. 회사가 공개한 분기 실적을 보면 1주당 순이익(EPS) 은 2.69달러, 매출은 561억9000만 달러를 기록해 레피니티브 집계 기준 월가 전문가 기대치(EPS 2.55달러, 매출 554억7000만 달러)를 넘어섰습니다. 순 이익과 매출은 각각 작년 2분기 대비 20%, 8% 늘어났습니다.

주요 사업 부문별로 보면 애저를 비롯한 클라우드 사업 매출은 연간 26% 늘었습니다. 서버 상품과 관련 클라우드 매출과 오피스365 서비스 매출은 각각 17%, 15% 증가했습니다. 이밖에 개인용 컴퓨터(PC) 등 기기 제조업계를 상대로 한 마이크로소프트의 윈도우즈 라이센스 매출은 연간 12% 감소했습니다.

마이크로소프트의 사티아 나델라 최고경영자(CEO)은 실적 발표 성명문을 통해 “우리는 새로운 인공지능(AI) 플랫폼 전환에 계속 집중하고 있다”고 밝혔습니다. 회사는 AI 기능을 애저와 마이크로소프트365 오피스, 깃허브 등에 적용하고 있습니다. 이밖에 마이크로소프트는 AI 용 데이터센터 구축을 위한 지출 증가를 예고해왔는데 올해 2분기 자본 지출은 107억 달러로 직전 분기 대비 약 37% 늘었습니다.

 

- 구글(알파벳) 주가변화

 

한편‘시총 3위’ 알파벳은 시간 외 거래 초반 약 7% 반등 했다가 6.67%에 장마감 했습니다. 회사가 공개한 분기 실적을 보면 1주당 조정 EPS 는 1.44달러, 매출은 746억 달러를 기록해 월가 전문가 기대치(EPS 1.34달러, 매출 728억2000만 달러)를 넘어섰습니다. 순 이익과 매출은 각각 작년 2분기 대비 20%, 8% 늘어났습니다.

　주요 사업 부문별로 보면 지난 분기까지 매출 둔화 리스크가 두드러졌던 광고 부문이 양호한 실적을 냈다는 평가가 따릅니다. ChatGPT 관련해서도 AI 기술 발전으로 인한 광고매출이 감소할거라는 예상과는 달리 광고주 계약이 취소된것이 없어서 매출 실적이 전혀 줄어들지 않았습니다. 오히려 올해 2분기 구글 광고 수익(581억4000만 달러)과 유튜브 광고 수익(76억7000만 달러)은 각각 작년 동기 대비 3.3%, 4.5% 늘었습니다. 이밖에 클라우드 사업(인프라스트럭처·생산성 앱 포함) 매출은 28% 늘었습니다. 눈여겨 볼만한 사업을 보면 구글의 미래 사업 ‘아더 베츠’ 매출이 2억8500만달러를 기록해 작년 동기(193달러)에 비해 폭증했습니다. 아더 베츠에는 자율 주행차 ‘웨이모’와 생명 과학 데이터 ‘베릴리’ 가 포함됩니다.
